Hi Kids!
Keep me posted on the happenings in room 19! I will see you all on Wednesday. Don’t forget that you promised you would be extra good for Mrs. Gilbert.
I’ll miss you guys!
Love,
Mrs. Ritenour
PS- Don’t forget to bring your instruments on Tuesday!
Each class (1st-5th grade) recently elected Student Council Representatives and alternates. Our first meeting will be held on September 23rd from 11:20-12:20. If you have any ideas for Student Council projects you can leave them here.

If you would like to hear our podcasts you can visit the web site listed above. The kids began making podcasts for the new school year last week. Each time we finish a podcast I will post it to our podcast page.
I’m sure the kids can write posts here about how they made the podcasts.

Hi Kids!
This is the place to post comments about what we are doing at school!
Mrs. R.
This is the place to write about what we’ve been doing at school this week!
My class finally has its own blog. What is a blog you might ask???!!!?? A blog is a journal that is available on the internet. A blog allows people to post messages and others to view and respond to the posts or messages. (It is kind of like reading someone’s diary then writing a response to what you read in the diary.) The word blog comes from combining two words- web and log. The activity of updating a blog is “blogging” and someone who keeps a blog is a “blogger.”
This year school starts on September 2, 2008. If you are in my class, please respond to this post and let me know your ideas about how we can use our new blog!
